Wyoming Observe the Moon Night

The staff at the Casper Planetarium would like to invite you to our Wyoming Observe the Moon Night, September 11, 2021 at 6:30 pm (until 8:30 pm).  We are hosting this event in participation with the Science Zone, Central Wyoming Astronomical Society, and the Girl Scouts of Wyoming.

We will have our mini observatory open for moon viewing as well as several other telescopes around the property. A short movie will run at different intervals during the course of the evening. There will be moon related activities and experiments for kids and adults, such as making craters, regolith, and lunar footprints! It promises to be a fun and educational evening.

We hope to see you September 11th.
